Our Program Pillars
Building leaders, empowering communities. Our programs are designed to strengthen life skills, leadership abilities, and personal development for young men and community members. Through mentoring, training, and hands-on experiences, we’re committed to making a lasting impact rooted in the values of Omega Psi Phi.
Community Engagement
We believe strong communities build strong leaders. Through initiatives like our Fatherhood Initiative, Daddy Daughter Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Project Uplift, and Lifting as We Climb, the Iota Mu Mu Chapter is committed to making a difference where it matters most. Our community engagement efforts create spaces for connection, empowerment, and growth — inspiring change that stretches far beyond a single event.
Mentoring & Training
Mentorship is at the core of what we do. Programs like the Middy Mentor Program, tutoring partnerships at Benjamin Banneker Middle School, and collaborations with First Baptist Church of Glenarden (Project Manhood and Unashamed) are designed to guide young men toward excellence. Through leadership development, academic support, and career readiness training, we help build the foundation for lifelong success.
Life Skills & Achievements
Equipping young men with real-world skills is a cornerstone of our mission. Through scholarships, life skills lecture series, STEM exposure, financial literacy education, and leadership opportunities like our Veteran’s Day Salute and talent hunts, we are committed to helping future leaders unlock their full potential. Every program is designed to inspire confidence, knowledge, and achievement.
